I was comissioned to paint a coffee table for the client's living room.
The client left the theme choice pretty much to my decision. When I was comissioned this piece, I had recently been gifted a book called "A Handbook of Ornaments", and stumbled upon the Medusa, used as an ornament of protection. I thought it would be a good fit. The client agreed, and this was the project!
